According to weather.gov The Spring 2019 precipitation total (March-May) was 9.85 inches, 1.91 inches above average, and the sixth wettest spring on record!  Who knows what this year's average will be but what we do know is excessive rainfall can lead to considerable damage in a home as it has the potential to flood basements, ruin foundations and building materials, and contribute to mold growth.

How to prepare for a wet spring?

  • Clean and Stable gutters and proper drainage from roof to the ground around the home
  • Make sure any and all foundation cracks are sealed and or repaired to prevent further damage and moldy basements
  • Install a Sunk Pump to help prevent a build-up of water and ultimately prevent water damage, flooding, and structural damage.
