The above photos were taken over the course of a job where moisture was found underneath shifted floors. The moisture originated from a leaky pipe between the crawlspace and the floor. It is unknown the amount of time that the leak existed, but it doesn't take much to affect your structure. According to WagnerMeters.com, wood can shift and become unshapely according to how much moisture content (MC) is in it. The customer called when they noticed the flood expanding and contracting.
